The Lord Leycester's bedrooms have the character and variety as befits a hotel with a history spanning six centuries - but this does not come at the expense of comfort and convenience. Our rooms include family suites and a four poster.

All our 42 rooms have en-suite bath or shower-rooms, as well as direct dial telephone, colour TV, radio, hairdryer and tea & coffee facilities. For the benefit of both our gurests and staff, we are a non-smoking hotel and request your co-operation. We have a "four-poster" and king-size beds for those special occasions. Our maximum* room rates, including full English breakfast, range from £75.50 to £98.00, but we often have special offers for week-end breaks and holidays.

Regrettably, even though we have a lift, the historic nature of our building makes it inconvenient for guests in wheelchairs because there are steps into many rooms. Please phone reception to discuss your requirements.

Four Poster - £98.00 or less including full English breakfast
Our Four Poster room is a very spacious room in the Georgian front of the hotel. With a four-poster double bed, dressing table, chairs, a large television and en-suite facilities with bath and shower, this room is ideal for those extra special occasions.

Executive - £98.00 or less including full English breakfast
Our Executive room is another large room in the Georgian part of the building. It contains a six foot wide double bed as well as plenty of room to spread out. Another room that is ideal for special occasions. Enjoy!

Family Suites - £98.00 or less including full English breakfast.
We have some interconnecting family suites which have a double room and either a twin room or a room with bunk beds. Really good for a family break, because you don't have the children in the same room with you. For double occupancy they are priced as double rooms and the additional children are only charged for breakfast.

King Size Rooms - £93.00 or less including full English breakfast
Generous rooms with an extra-large double bed, light oak furniture, soft furnishings, a larger television and en-suite facilities with either a shower or bath with shower. Modem points are available in all Superior King-Size rooms.

Double Rooms - £83.00 or less including full English breakfast
Our double rooms contain everything you would want for a comfortable stay with us. As you would expect with a hotel with our long history, our doubles range in size so we tend to allocate the larger ones first. All of them are good for two people - an indulgence for one. All of our doubles have en-suite facilities with either a shower or bath with shower.

Twin Rooms - £83.00 or less including full English breakfast
Our twin rooms contain two single beds and, of course, have en-suite facilities. Spacious for one and great for a couple travelling together. One twin can be linked to the double next door to create a family room.

Generous Singles or Occasional Doubles - £62.00 or less including full English breakfast.
We have two small doubles which we prefer to sell as single rooms. They are great for single occupancy and, if you are prepared to snuggle up, fine for two.
